Because who can resist a nice golden muscat to lull you to sleep at the end of a summers day or the depths of flavor within a Pedro Ximinez. Takes me back to long summer days and the cafes of Spanish adventures.

Colour, line, form
Is what it all comes down to. Within that is tone, scale, proportion and the je ne said quoi. Which is the part where the gaze and the hand meet. Where all that observing mixed with play of the hand makes it’s way onto the page. I love the iterative and creative process of illustrating.
